Music Analysis: Project Noise

A music advertisement I found, advertising a promotional campaign for the pop artist and techno DJ Labrinth. The advertisement is listed as "Project Noise" and it advertises to the audience on a campaign for one of the reader's to enter into a contest to let them feature a sound in his next track.

The advertisement uses a prominent blue colour scheme that is features as the borders and title. This makes it related to the company that is sponsoring this event who's logo is blue. The use of "neon"
like effect resonates the genre's techno theme. The typography used is pretty plain and only a few words are in bold to help draw the attention of the audience's eyes to the important information.

The imagery used is also pretty futuristic as well, it includes the singer Labrinth clearly in the center, but he also has two opaque-ish duplicates that move and form in different ways that make it feel more dynamic and has a "dance" feel. It also merges in other imagery that uses a screen texture to make it look more "digital", once again resonating the techno theme. This also makes it look more interesting and also give the audience a lot to look at, as well as draw the attention when the audience is passing the page.

I would like to take maybe the idea of the use of borders and separate sections to give information. As this would make it more easier for the audience to understand separate pieces of information I will give them. The way that there is a consistent and prominent colour scheme is also very important to me as well and something that I will consider taking on board.
