Magazine Analysis: Kagerou Days Spoon.2D

Spoon.2Di is a magazine for advertising and exposing anime and any relevant anime products.
On this one specific advert it features one of the brand new songs that were just recently released at the time. It includes an illustration of the character "Ene" in blank white against a saturated blue.  The advertisement also is similar to the way the digipack uses the feature of foreshadowing. As the advertisement shows a tiny snippet of information about the story, but does not reveal the full story.

There is also the use of black "band" like shapes to induce a sense of entrapment, as well as a way to split up the varying text that is laid across the ad. The direction of the text and interesting typography is also similar to the way typography is used in the music videos as well, making the subject relatable and recognisable.

A small image of the product is also shown on the bottom right, showing the viewer the aesthetic of the product and giving them a full understanding of what they are getting. The colours used in that cover is also similar to the colour scheme used in the ad.

The use of colour and stylistic drawing is quite interesting, although I'm a bit trapped between using realistic imagery or a more animated one. The way that the advertisement use foreshadowing is quite interesting as well and I will take this to heart too.
