Here is the back cover of Big Sean's album "Detroit". The cover is mainly in black, with the text and has a unique texture which gives it an aged and grungy, which matches the music style and the audience they want to attract to. The text is once again in white, like the Gorillaz album, but I also think it is effective as it relates to the creases within the album and makes the album back more atheistically pleasing. Unlike the Gorillaz album however, there is a bit of information on the bottom like a website and a variety of logos. They help lead the audience to other place to get information, but not lose the focus of the track listings. They are small, but recognizable and appealing due to the colour.

Gorillaz Digipack Analysis
I just realised I didn't do any analysis for the back of digipacks.....whoops.
Here is one of the Gorillaz digipacks. I chose to analyse this as it is another digital band like a utaite or Vocaloid, but they are based in Britain.
The illustrations on the cover are made by the comic illustrator Jamie Hewlett, one of the co-creators of the Gorillaz. There is a sharp and punk like style that is quite stylized compared to some of the clean and formed art of utaite and vocaloid art. The main focus of the cover and inside are the illustrations as well. There are barely any text apart from their band name and character names, which are also relatively small anyway. The colours are bright, but unsaturated to keep a slightly grimy and dirty look, matching the theme of the genre of music the Gorillaz create. The back of the digipack is just a simple black background with the band logo on it, there is also a simple list of the tracks within the album as well, they're are in simple white typography which is effective as it is simple and does not need a lot of detail making it appealing and easy to read. The red in the back of the Gorillaz logo also gives off a aggressive vibe, matching with the street style of the band, making it also appealing and relatable to new buyers.
The simplicity of the back of the cover is something that I wish to take in mind as it is easy to notice the tracks listed and that is something that I like as it does not take the attention away from the tracks as it is a digipack and should be the main focus of the back.

Music Video Concept
My video concept is revolved around three sinners, each trapped within their own sins. There would be conflict between all three characters, but with the main perpetrator being the girl, who is trying to woo both male sinners. The video will begin to escalate faster and faster and deadlier and deadlier the further the music video gets.
The video will mainly be taken with photos, with some dynamic shots being taken with a camera instead. The images taken I would try and add filters with later to give it more personality as well as set an imposing atmosphere for the mood of the story.
There will a heavy inclusion of text and typography to keep with the vocaloid/utaite theme of the video and these texts will be moved and manipulated to relate and integrate with the video to make an interesting and dynamic reaction.
The editing would be in time with the music as well as the transitions. This is the main selling point of my music video.

Other Inspiration
Judge:
A psychological movie/comic about sinners trapped in an abandoned building who are forced to kill each other. The animal mask each represent their individual sins.

You're Next Masks:
Some more creepy animal masks, the designs are slightly ominous.
The masks have a unique style to their design, but unlike the JUDGE masks, they also look like some masks you can find at party stores and can be brought, making them more realistic.
